The Ten Commandments are Not multiple choice!

"Yieldedness"

We must remain moldable and pliable
in the hands of God.
So he can fashion us into Christ's image.
as on this earth we plod.

So, when we are hurt by others,
don't become 'bitter' and 'dry',
Else we become 'brittle and broken'
and God we can't satisfy!

For He is looking for 'yieldedness',
not 'perfect' vessels of clay.
Wanting us to 'grow' as His children.
and from all bitterness turning away.

forgiving others' offences.
keeps us 'soft and pure'.
Enabling God  to 'mold' us
a 'yielded' life for sure!

Then He can mold our flaws.
And press them 'out' of us,
removing specks and boards,
for us a great big 'plus'!

The poem was written by a dear friend of mine, We met on the net  and she is a great inspriation to me, as I try to be for her.  She has over 900 poems, as the words
just come to her, and she writes them down. I ask Pat if I could use her poems for my website and she gave me permission to use this one, along with a others throughout my site. Thank you so much Patricia.  I hope you  keep up your work on the web.
